I live in Greenwood off Bradford Drive. I have driven as far as Springfield and Omaha, but most work is done locally here and in Lee’s Summit.
I usually compare my services to what “big box” stores do, and cut those in half or more. If extensive travel is requested, I will usually add common sense mileage as well. I do not charge for parts (I am not in sales/reselling) and for any parts the customer needs, I will attach an Amazon/etc invoice or refer them on where to buy the parts we need.
It usually falls down to whatever is easier. Sometimes I find small businesses prefer an invoice, so I use Paypal for that. Individual homeowners usually pay in cash or via a mobile app. It’s your choice – not picky here.
